Lavender Womyn is a lesbian social group, which was originally started in Oregon, but has since grown into multiple chapters throughout different places. This lesbian social network was created to give lesbians a safe and fun place to be who they are. The Corvallis-Albany, Oregon chapter is a social and networking group for Benton and Linn counties and beyond. We welcome all women-loving women, including those who identify as lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, etc. Members are encouraged to arrange occasional activities such as brunch and potlucks. Ongoing events currently include DiningOut, a monthly coffee klatch in Lebanon, and a lesbian fiction book club. This website is not always kept up-to-date, so members are notified about social gatherings and events in the community through a Yahoo! email group.
